Bhairav Chalisa invokes the protector who guards every dimension. Black-skinned, garland of skulls, riding a dog, holding a trident — Bhairav is what stands between the seeker and every harm. He is Kala-Bhairav (time itself) and Batuk-Bhairav (the youthful protector children pray to).
For anyone facing legal trouble, persistent fear, hostile environments, or unseen attack, Bhairav Chalisa is the sword and shield. He is fierce but utterly loyal to his bhaktas.
